Background
Charles is the prince of a kingdom once in shambles, and one that has struggled to claw its way up from oblivion. Following a brutal war instigated by his father, of which Charles was a general of, Charles assumed the throne and threw himself into repairing the kingdom. A war fought against the brutal Dolphin Kingdom, of which has yet to recover from the aftermath that left both kingdoms in shambles. Dolphin civilians are known to send threats and commit acts of terror against the Kingdom of Whales every now and again, however Charles is far more focused on getting his people back in a good place than worry about the pesky villains. This in turn has caused some citizens to dislike Charles' inaction, and others to love him because of his efforts to restore their livelihood.

That being said, Charles still suffers severe PTSD following the war. It has been six years since, but he is still extremely sensitive to loud noises and certain situations that are almost guaranteed to trigger him. However, for the sake of avoiding being seen as weak, Charles suppresses all his concerns and stresses, and expertly avoids any situations that might cause him to unravel. Very few are aware of his PTSD, and they are only the closest people he can trust. Not even his cabinet members of councilmen are aware, for sake of his throne being threatened.

Despite all that sad and unfortunate stuff, Charles remains strong and resilient. He works day and night for his people, and will stop at nothing to bring his kingdom back to its former glory. His passion lies with his people first and foremost, however he has noticed a shift in this mindset following his engagement to the beautiful princess of the Swordfish Kingdom. Somehow, he...he finds himself wanting to spend time with her instead of with work. A most troubling development...
